I have a B.B.A in Economics from Anadolu University and 18 years of experience as a translator, localizer and interpreter, including interpretation, proofreading, transcription, consultancy and business communications. In my 18 years as a freelancer I have helped a great number of businesses improve their market share by improving their documentation and communication. My clients include advertising agencies, public relations firms, company marketing departments, large stores, marketing firms, magazines, TV's and creative agencies. Also I was working as interviewer for UNHCR on the verification of registration data of Syrian refugees in Ankara.As a native Turkish, I am fluent in Arabic and English. Having studied in the departments of English Language Teaching & French Language and Literature at leading universities in Turkey, I have been working now for 9 years as a certified English & French translator in almost every field of translation.

I graduated from Translation and Interpreting Studies Department in the year of 2012. As an undergraduate student at Boğaziçi University, I have improved my English speaking skills through the courses. Moreover, I cannot deny the great contribution of my visiting the USA and working there for three months. During my education I worked at different places, such as publishing houses, translation offices so as to gain experiences. Apart from translating legal and business documents for various local and international translation companies as a freelance translator, I have also edited a number of books, stories, poems and other creative texts. I also completed my M.A. in Comperative Literature at Istanbul Bilgi University, which contributed my academic and linguistic skills. Following that, I started my Phd at Translation and Interpreting Studies Department at Yıldız Technical University in 2017.
