I am a freelance translator providing French and Portuguese translation services since 2014. I’ve spent a few years learning the ropes in a localization company before becoming independent. I am currently enrolled in a Multilingual Master in Psycho- and Neurolinguistics at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). I studied French, Latin and English language and literature at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven). I also have studied medicine at the University of Liège (ULiège).

I have been working as a freelance translator for the past 21 years. I do not own a university degree in translation/interpretation, but the multitude of translation projects I have worked on over the years has done more for my capacity as a translator than any degree could have ever done. Though French is my mother tongue, I have spent the last 21 years living both in French and English (my partner is an American citizen).
